Why organisations are leaving Teams

Microsoft is a US company. Under the US CLOUD Act, US authorities can demand data from it even when that data is stored in Europe. In 2020 the EU Court of Justice struck down the framework then used for transfers to the US (Schrems II), and the question has returned with every agreement since.

For a municipality, region or agency this is a question of legal risk, not features. Eurion is built to remove that risk without taking away the tools people are used to.

We publish how we test

Security claims are easy to write. So we publish reports from our tests against the production environment, such as proof that organisations cannot see each other’s data and that GDPR Article 17 erasure reaches every service.
